LESS SETUP. MORE DISCOVERY.

From paper
to possibility.

A browser. A camera. A little curiosity.

No app to install. Explore on a phone, tablet, or computer with a webcam. You can also start in 3D without a camera or printed card.

01
MAKE YOUR EXPLORER CARD

Print a little possibility.

Download the free PDF or print the marker page. Use black and white, matte paper, and actual size. Keep the black border and its white margin intact.

Stick it to a flat card to hold in your hand, put it on a table, or attach it to a wall.

02
OPEN YOUR CAMERA

Give your camera a look.

Choose an experience and tap Launch camera. When your card is ready, tap “I have one. Start camera” and allow camera access.

Use the rear camera on a phone. Keep all four corners in view, with bright, even light and as little glare as possible.

03
EXPLORE AN IDEA

Let curiosity lead.

Turn the card slowly and move around it while keeping the marker visible. Tap a part, or choose it from the part selector, to see its explanation and highlight.

Pause the animation, change its speed or size, and try the investigation steps. In 3D preview, drag to rotate and pinch or scroll to zoom.

Find an experience

A few useful answers.

Is this an ordinary QR code?

The b. symbol is Project Badi’s custom AR tracking pattern. Its shape helps the browser estimate the card’s position and rotation. The same free card works for every current experience. Older HIRO cards need replacing.

What happens to my camera images?

Frames are processed on your device. Project Badi does not upload or store them, and closing the explorer or hiding the page releases the camera.

What if my connection is slow?

The page opens before downloading the 3D viewer. Your first experience needs a connection. Once the production site has cached an opened free experience, it may work offline; browser cache eviction can still remove it.

What if the card isn’t being found?

Use the new Badi card, brighten the room, avoid reflections, and show the whole square. Move closer and hold it flat. When the card leaves view, the scene hides until it is found again. You can switch to 3D preview at any time.

Does it work on a cube or a bare hand?

This edition tracks a flat printed card. You can hold that card in your palm. Multi-face cube tracking and bare-hand tracking are future work.
